I think this Lazydork video was partly an excuse to experiment with his editing software, but it’s still funny. The funniest are his examples of web cams that are actually on all the time, showing people when they are boring, pathetic, or at the height of lunacy (or just high). No one is as fascinating as they portray themselves to be publicly whether they’re on the internet or out at a bar, and Lazydork’s video reminds us of that.
From YouTube.com user: Brookers Looks like a great day.... However, this is much more of a home movie than anything really put on for the entertainment of You-Tube viewers.
Gr8shotz is responding to a shoutout, and telling the shouter he is too old for Star Trek (as if anybody could ever be too old for Star Trek). You knew he had to be kidding, right? I don't want to ruin the video, but I will say that if he played with his goatee, he would be a perfect Commander Riker. Right down to tugging on his shirt.
Speed stacking is a new phys ed activity. Grade school kids compete in stacking cups really, really quickly. It improves hand-eye coordination and helps them with other sports, like basketball. These kids are fast.
I love watching this guy juggle. He is amazing. This time he uses a V-shaped prop to juggle into and he is so fast that at some points it looks like he has extra arms and the balls form continuous-line shapes in the air. Very, very cool.
Another video about washing! It’s bathtime from a dog’s perspective. Mookie and Sam look like—well, they look like wet dogs. And then there are after bath antics—running in circles with your nose to the ground, leaping and jumping and having fun. This is a cute series and FullPic does a great job with the intro, music and cinematography.
This is a video about washing. About not washing dishes. Not washing clothes, exactly. Not washing the car, or washing your face, hands, goatee. It’s Dirty, gross, icky, and a follow-up shower may be needed after viewing. Thanks for sharing Gr8shotz.
Lucy’s video is half travel guide for Hollywood and half music video for “I Walk Alone”. She shows all the famous places in Hollywood and of course someone just happens to be making a movie there that day. The video, however, is not too representative of what Hollywood is really like. Mostly there are a ton of crappy touristy stores, tattoo parlors, and wig shops (oh and a bargain suit store). The setting works great for her purposes though and even though most people who live in Los Angeles don’t go there very often, Hollywood remains the backdrop for any person aspiring to be in films.
In this irreverent debut clip, comedy troupe Chocolate Cake City explores what might happen if the coolest program ever (aka Google Earth) could hone in on one of the most dangerous men alive. Would the proper authorities be contacted? Or would the information be withheld in order to retain Halo playing privileges? This solid and imaginative offering provides a uniquely comedic answer.
