Someone camcordered someone's kids in someone's house to make this rip-off of tribute to J-horror, complete with the girl's hair hanging in her face. Amateurish, but fun for that reason, and the last shot is kind of creepy.
If they won't let you stay in art school, make a mopey hand-drawn video about your disappointment. Rough-hewn and scratchily appealing, edited nicely to the music.
Y'know those cursor trails on the more annoying websites? This guy's figured out how to do it IN REAL LIFE. No, really. (Actually it's just a dry run for some special effect.)
Lego movies never get old. The German subtitles add to this one's surreal charm. (The storyline is pretty basic and easy to follow for non-German speakers.)
This very stupid short video shows how a classic urban myth is actually true. Don't blink because you'll miss it. What is funny is that grown men are still trying this stunt.
Your basic emo artsy video, but relaxing and strangely charming. I believe it's in Spanish, but emo symbolism (the rose in the rain...sigh) is universal.
Someone inks his/her Boba Fett sketch in Photoshop. Oddly compelling if you're in the right mood, sort of like watching it draw itself. Goes on a bit, and the accompanying hip-hop may not be work-safe.
Thrill Ride! Experience the wild loops and fly upside down in this video captured on a roller coaster. You'll want to scream along with the guys on the ride. Realistic.
See the process by which professionals bleach the flaws — and humanity — out of their photographic subjects. A couple of examples here, such as the woman licking the knife, are alterations for artistic effect, but most just remove wrinkles and bumps to make the subjects more palatable to...who, really? Eye-opening if you haven't seen this sort of thing demonstrated before.
Pretty much what it sounds like — a battle royale between dozens of classic-rock album images. Slight demerit for the too-easy Michael Jackson joke, but otherwise an ingenious concept breathlessly realized. Makes me nostalgic for the days of vinyl (though some of the album covers are from the CD era).
Someone decided to do a rough animation using consecutive pages from Joyce's "Ulysses" while an Irish-accented voice reads a passage from the book. Not the smoothest animation you'll ever see, but I don't think it's meant to be. It gets across the book's verbal violence and eroticism (some of it isn't work-safe) in an appropriately craggy yet artful manner.
There are plenty of other funky time-lapse videos around, but this one has a special Halloween eeriness that recommends it. The music, which sounds like a black mass being held for a decaying fruit, seals the deal. Seventeen seconds of succinct creep.
I learned how to shave from Maxim and have no younger brothers to teach, but I felt very engaged by this video of an older brother teaching his younger brother to shave. They have a wonderful repartee that’ll make you smile the whole way though. With so many videos being staged and scripted, this video of such a routine task feels very refreshing.
Maybe I’m just sentimental for 80’s movies, but this video recalls images of a certain teenage werewolf cruising around town on top of his buddy’s van. This German train surfer certainly puts Michael J. Fox to shame though; surfing the countryside at speeds of 120mph. You may be tempted to perform a similar stunt, but without access to the Mission Impossible 3 prop house you’re probably out of luck.
I was a wrestling fan in the past, and this short clip mentions all my favorites. Apparently they are all still around. Scary thing is most of them were around when I started to watch wrestling when I was nine years old. That was over twenty years ago. I guess wrestling is one of those businesses you just can't seem to quit.
Borat is everywhere these days, but here is some Ali G. I haven't seen much of either character because I'm a much newer fan, so this Ali G clip is new to me. It's funny though. Check it out!
Check out this parody of a commercial. At least I hope this is a parody because if this was a real commercial that would be pretty scary. It's funny though, so take a look.
This video is in French, but you don't have to understand what is being said to appreciate this pool trick. I don't even know how it is done, but it looks amazing. Check it out for yourself.
I'm not sure where in the world this commercial is shown, but I found it funny. Check out this commercial for pronto condoms. It'll be quick and painless I promise!
I found this short 3D animated clip amusing. Watch as a woman's breasts expand right before your eyes. I bet some men would like to see this happen for real. Check it out.
This is a clip from late night television, and it is one of the most viewed videos right now over on YouTube. The clip comes to us from The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson where he talks about banning the internet and the state of the world's seafood by 2048. Funny stuff. Check it out!
Wow! I never thought a human being that isn't heavily retarded would think that the Sidney Opera House is in Italy. Or that Taj Mahal lies in Greece. On the other hand maybe it is a heavy retardation to only care about beauty and the other gender. I don't know...
Have you also noticed how McDonalds always tries to make you buy the bigger menu or more than you want? I have. Would McDonalds still do that if you bought the whole menu? Let's find out:
There are all kinds of ways to impress a lady, but this might not be the best. And by "this" I mean to let a friend in the trunk to be your navigator. And by "not the best" I mean possibly the worst and that you should never try it. But this is just a fun ad, so I forgive them.
If you have kids you should know how hard it is to teach them how to ride a bike. I remember when I was a kid my dad tied me to the steering and just let me role, pretty much like the dad in this video. Although I didn't fire up.
It's amazing how some can make impressions of other people. This guy can do a perfect impression of Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman and I'm sure I would never guess it wasn't one of them if I heard this guy without seeing him. He tells a fun story too.
Kids are hilarious. When asked what's the difference between girls and boys, we get all kinds of answers, some more intelligent than a grown up would ever think of. What's interesting is that you can really tell what kind of parent each kid has by its answer, and in what surroundings it is raised. Kids sure grasp everything they see and hear.
Babys sleep in so many different ways. Some like to chew their finger, some like to have a blanket, some like to suck a pacifier, and some like to be under water. Yes, under water like the baby in this video. Whenever the water stops, it wakes up and opens it again only to go back to sleep. Look for yourself:
It seems I won't regret waiting for the Simpsons Movie that long, cause it sure seems to be great. If you'd like to see a very early short preview of it, without color or finished animation, here's your chance. Homer and the poor dogs…
The Simpson’s opening theme is always the same, isn't it? No. Sometimes we get to see a whole new surprising and amusing intro, like this one. Here Bart is fat and can hardly walk, which ultimately doesn't turn out so well.
A classic from Rick Moranis hilarious movie "Spaceballs". I bet you didn't know Darth Vader played with dolls, right? Some trivia is that Rick improvised this whole scene, and it turned out to be one of the funniest in the whole movie. Well done!
This must be the weirdest, most confusing game ever! Numberwang! A clip from "That Mitchell and Webb Look", whose purpose is... yea, what is its purpose anyway? However, it's funny, especially if you have a somewhat british humor.
We all know how annoying brothers and sisters can be. They seem to have one goal in their lives, mess you up. That's what the brother in this video does, when it's time to send a video greeting to the mother on mother's day. I guess we have to learn live with them...
