Here is another one from Ohio State highlight video producer extraordinaire, jeffseemann. This piece is inspired by a song written by The Dead Schembechlers deriding Michigan quarterback Chad Henne. As usual the video is very well done, and the selections of highlights clips are great, but the song is what carries this one. Sounding a lot like an Irish folk tune, the disparaging lyrics regarding Henne are sure to make any Buckeyes laugh, and leave most Wolverine shaking his head at the obsession level of Ohio State fans.
At its end, the song also morphs into a mouthed version of "Le Regiment"--a popular staple of the Ohio State Marching Band's "Script Ohio" field maneuver during football games. This is very, very good. Posted YouTube.com user: SiLLyBiLLy When the guys are out drinking loads, burning couches, and generally causing a world of mayhem after a football triumph, apparently the female students at The Ohio State University are sitting at home and strip teasing in front of home video cameras. As part of my Ohio State Michigan obsession for this week -- and this week only, I promise -- here is a video of a very attractive young lady trying to convince her audience into taking an interest in the Buckeyes. Juelz Santana's "Whistle Song" provides the soundtrack for this tantalizing tease and, well, she takes care of the rest. I must warn you, however, that this girl is abnormally hot and well put together... so you've been warned. Put the kids to bed and enjoy! Straight from the land of high-larious comes this video from SpontilageousGee, by way of JustinSchlegel.com, of some good old-fashioned monkey lovin’. I’ve always been a big fan of monkeys and funny voice-overs, so I was destined to enjoy this one based on transitive properties alone. This clip is truly funny, however, as the comedian—and frequent YouTube blogger—Justin Schlegel, provides the appropriate sexual commentary to some monkey business taking place in a tree.

This is a pretty great interview of Perez Hilton at Los Angeles’ Paper Project. Mr. Mickey asks some pretty good questions and whether you agree with Perez or not there is a lot to think about here for anyone who is interested in celebrity journalism. I’d be very interested to hear opinions about “lancing” people or just celebrity gossip in general.

I can't understand what they're saying but I don't really need to. This is cool fun to watch! It's a pool filled with a mixture of cornstarch and water mixed in a concrete mixing truck. It becomes a non-Newtonian fluid. When stress is applied to the liquid it exhibits properties of a solid - like walking on a water bed.

As many of you know, there is a little football game happening in Columbus, Ohio on Nov. 18 that has been billed as perhaps the greatest regular season college football game EVER… Let’s face it, ANY game between Ohio State and Michigan can be considered as such, but this one is going to be special, for good or ill. Columbus is known as a football-crazy city—especially for “The Game” — and it has its share of hooligans who don’t take a back seat to any other “football” fans overseas.
This is a video produced by the university and distributed through the Columbus Dispatch Newspaper of the fan behavior around Ohio Stadium during the last time Ohio State was undefeated heading into the Michigan game in 2002. Used as a reminder for fans to behave themselves for this year’s game, this video is both a harrowing cautionary tale and unfortunate preview for what’s to come — win or lose — in a town intoxicated from the success of its football team as well as a countless number of alcoholic beverages. This video is not for the weak. It presents excessive drinking, partying, revelry, violence, language, ignorance, depravity, and vice of all sorts… in other words, Saturday can not get here soon enough… I’ve got my ticket (and my riot gear).
“We don’t give a damn for the whole state of Michigan cuz we’re from O-HI-O!” Here is a nice highlight video clip from a poster named jeffseemann—a huge Ohio State football fan and excellent producer of Buckeye highlight videos—who has compiled the best Buckeye moments against hated rival Michigan over the past 3 OSU wins. I’m not to big on the music selections in these videos usually, and especially in this one, but the editing and amount of video scouring to compile this amazing number of clips is impressive to say the least. At the end of the video, and like a true Buckeye, he places a clip of the Ohio State Marching Band (“TBITL” for those in the know) playing “Buckeye Battle Cry” as he presents to his viewers—and Wolverine fans everywhere—the scores of the featured games… Guess what jeffseemann? It’s 9:21 ET, and Michigan still sucks! But I’m sure you, of all people, already knew that.

Now this is a cool video from a YouTube provider named NirvanaUMe who has posted a live version of, you guessed it, Nirvana performing the song Lithium. Taken from the newly-released DVD entitled “Live! Tonight! Sold Out!” this performance stands out for the hair raising crowd sing along in the beginning of the song.
All in all, this is pretty standard concert footage with a few good overlaying effects, so don't expect too much razzle-dazzle--but then again, Nirvana was the antithesis of the term, and this video is a nice representation of the band in its brief glory.
Here is another hilarious video brought to you by the good lads over at Charged Productions. This sketch comedy spoof imagines two undercover crime fighting partners: one is a former Black Panther, the other a former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. According to the video, the only thing they hate more than each other is crime… and the Jews. The Starsky and Hutch-like 70’s vibe plays great with the irresistible soundtrack that’ll have you singing the words—for good or ill—for quite some time after viewing this little gem. This is a definite must see, so follow through and click play.

This video by Charged Productions is an interesting parody of the Quentin Tarantino classic movie Reservoir Dogs. Capturing the high drama of the bank heist gone wrong, F-bombs are thrown around like rice at a funeral as the characters—who look nothing like the originals, incidentally—try to sort things out and ultimately put a little lead in an irritant's chest.
Well the Zipster is going to quit smoking; starting November 20th that is. He’s also inviting everyone else on YouTube to join him in his quest to give up cigarettes. There’s no easy way to quit, but announcing your intentions to thousands of people sure ups the pressure. Let’s hope it works out for ya Zip and everyone else that joins in.

I'm thinking Lasse Gjertsen was an only child. Perhaps left alone and he had to entertain himself with an audience of one. And now Gjertsen has the stage and the world is his audience. Lucky for us because Gjertsen's videos are always upbeat, very creative, fun and short enough to make us come back wanting for more. Gjertsen -- who stars in his one-man shows -- excells in editing, as we see in this production. This young Norwegian calls his style "hyperactive editing". I call it professional level.
Gjertsen's got charisma and can play the part of the mad genius, with his wild hair and matching wide eyes. But after shooting, when he sits down to splice his creations together, that is where we see him shine, producing entertaining videos with his audience following along without ever missing a beat. This very animated Norwegian actor, writer, film maker, and editor is talented in all four areas. I love his videos from start to finish. Everything he does is loaded with humor and unpredictability. This one is one of my favorites. Who knew that you could make amateur musicians look so good. Funny performance(s). Awesome editing. (In the end credits he writes: "I can neither play the drums nor the piano (sic)." Well then, you could have fooled me. This is very fun to watch. Maestro, take it away.

Another entertaining and unusual short by lassegg where we see his shadow decides to go off on its own. I see a big future for Lasse Gjertsen in film production with his creativity, his eye for detail and talents both for acting and in production. His editing prowess is very professional and this one really shows it off. Enjoy.

Another funny and educational video by this talented editor. The title says, "How to cross a road." But even without the English subtitles you'll get what's being said, loud and clear. Be sure you're sitting down first. You'll want to watch this one several times. Please kids, don't try this at home.

Die by Dawn is a short low budget film from the UK that I found searching through YouTube a few days ago. The film is part horror and part comedy as one man's bad day just keeps getting worse when the machines in his house come to life and make a plan for him to die by dawn. Makes you wonder what he did to piss them off! There is some funny dialogue in this one, even if there isn't much of it. It is definitely worth the time to watch.

This parody of investigative TV journalism programs such as '60 Minutes' has a good premise and two fine actors, but unfortunately it's just a one-joke show and it just goes on too long after we get the one joke.
Perhaps it would have come alive with cut-aways of probing questions put to others and that action would have added some needed variety and punch. As it is it's worth the first 30 seconds; then you can stop and jump to minute 1:20 to see the look on the subject's face. Then you can finally stop it at minute 1:40. It's too bad his videos are not more snappy because j0sealan is obviously a talented writer and performer -- we see this in all his productions. He just needs a firmer hand when it comes to editing, which is also evident in all of his videos. Lost fans waited until the third season for the moment that occurred on last week's episode of Lost. We have until February for the show to make its return, but for right now we have past episodes and great fan created music videos like this one. The video is set to Snow Patrol's song, Open Your Eyes, and it tells the story of Kate and Sawyer through this point. For now, we have a couple, but we all know Jack is still in the picture. You have to love when you have a great love triangle, and this video even shows that as well. The song is a perfect selection for the pair and the clips. Check it out.

This is one from my archives. I was going through my favorites today in my browser, and I found this hilarious video. I knew I just had to share it with you. This one is for the fans of Star Wars and Darth Vader. This video will let you see Vader in a way he's never been seen before. The creator of this video takes dialogue said by James Earl Jones in other film roles and uses it over the image of Vader. The dialogue with those he interacts with is left in tact, so that makes this piece even funnier. Great editing and audio work make this video a must watch. Check it out.

Again, a very inventive premise by j0sealan. Funny and he strikes a resemblance to Mike Myers in drag. But again, it's goes on too long and the editing seems nonexistent. I watched it and enjoyed this satire for what it is. But I'm very curious about those unneeded psycho face zooms. And what's with the two very long, steady zoom shots into her staring at the camera? Was there some reason for not just cutting it when it was obviously over? We'll keep watching j0sealan's work and hoping his productions are edited tighter in the future.

This video is all over YouTube this morning! It is the pre-release version of the new Spiderman 3 trailer that is set to make an appearance in early 2007. Not sure how people got a hold of it, but I saw this posted a number of times. The video gives us a first look at the latest villain in Spidey's world, Venom. There are some rough spots, but I believe that is only because the trailer is still in its unfinished form. I can't wait until May 2007!

This one is for the fans of the NBC comedy, The Office. This fan made music video is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. It is a tribute video to two of the characters from the series, Michael and Dwight. The music selection by the video creator, Justin Timberlake's Sexyback. The song is one of those you either love, hate or learn to tolerate, but it works perfectly with the clips here. All the highlights and low lights of these two characters definitely make for some quick entertainment. Check it out.

This video of Notre Dame evokes a little something more than a travel video. It's shot so that the building and the ringing bells are coming after you. Pretty good quality shots of Notre Dame.

Beautiful calligraphy is mastered in China. These men are doing calligraphy on the ground with very large brushes. There does not seem to be ink, and the images are produced on a specially prepared concrete. This method of writing with invisible ink looks almost like magic. It's fascinating.
