Uh, Can you say "Kramer vs. Kramer"? The man never ceases to amaze. After viewing this video all I can say is ... well, what can I say? Who knew we'd find such a sinfully fun treasure, pulled from the old dusty trunk of 'Seinfeld' history. After comedian Michael Richards' 2-minute long N-word laced on-stage melt-down last week, this old clip from the TV series will haunt him long after he leaves rehab.
The mouth is completely off, only half the jokes are funny, and the overall video is just so budge it’s scary; but I love it. Lazydork is pretty mean to Kelly Pickler in this video, but she’s just an easy target for the general slutty airheads that plague contest shows. Chances are if you like Lazydork or hate bimbo starlets you’ll enjoy this video.
Skinny people dominate the Hollywood landscape and on screen they reign supreme. Lucy is right that the entertainment industry instantly labels you, but I think she falls into several niches. She’ll find someone casting her type sooner or later and she’ll get work from then on. I agree that there are entirely too many horrifically thin people in LA, but that just makes Lucy unique and she should use it. The video is kinda washed out, but you probably aren’t watching it for the lighting.
And in response ... This fourth video from geriatric1927 is a video response to another video about YouTube itself. In it he discusses about his own online habits, and he is quite computer literate. I don't think I've seen another man of his age so intune with the computer world. He is though, and although these early videos are quite simple, his words are what make them worth watching. He is candid with his views, and he has a way of putting them together well. One thing I noticed is that when he speaks his eyes are usually shut. That might be something to work on, but it is a small thing. I'm just one that feels you should look someone in the eye when you're speaking. Same goes for a camera.
Some thoughts on double standards. In this third video from geriatric1927, he talks about an issue that is bothering him quite a bit. He brings up a the idea of double standards in reference to the treatment of two people in very similar situations. They are handled quite differently, and he has no problem discussing it here.
The situation at hand is a head of a school losing his job for kissing a girl on the forehead. A Russian official had knelt down and kissed a young girl on the stomach. Yet nothing happened to him. The KGB didn't rush in to arrest him. Definitely a different standard here. geriatric1927 speaks well and the videos have nice intros. Definitely one to watch.
Parents just don't understand! The eighth video from lonelygirl15 sees the return of choppy editing, and it is a short video. Barely a minute long. Bree is upset because her parents didn't let her go out with Daniel on a planned outing. Not much to the video than that. Although you do kind of feel bad for her.
The Lonelygirl15 music video! This seventh video from Bree is a music video with her, Daniel and appearances by Owen and Purple Monkey. They are lipsyncing to Grillz. Not sure what prompted this change in attitude. Daniel even comes out of hiding behind the camera because she said he didn't like being in front of it in the last video! Apparently they received some bad comments, and this was her response. Funny video.
The sixth video from lonelygirl15 introduces us to the person she discusses quite a lot in her past videos, Daniel. He is also the one in charge of her video editing. He doesn't put his magic touch on this video, and it really shows! This video is choppy with horrible audio in some parts. Definitely not the best video, but at least you get to see who Daniel is. That's something, but not much.
In this fifth video from lonelygirl15, we see Bree cracking those books and getting some studying done. We learn she is home schooled, which really isn't all that strange. I wish I was home schooled back in my day. We have some cool editing and effects in this one with some interesting facts she's learned. She actually found a way to make watching her study a bit fun. Hard task, but I think she accomplished it. What do you think?
In the epic tradition of Tristan and Isolde and Romeo and Juliet, iMac and PC defy the prejudices that mark their parent's generation and strike up a cute romantic interlude in this animated short.
The origins of this clip stem from a Belgian website, so might be hard to track down more like it, but it should serve as a nice Friday distraction! The digital animation is seriously impressive, and the message is a cute one. Since it has to do with computers, you could even pull off viewing it at the office....just a suggestion, of course...
