Lucy is again upbeat about LA and points out some of the many good things Los Angeles has to offer to balance out the horror stories she’s been telling. LA is a city made up of countries and so there is tremendous diversity in terms of food and culture. Add to that the thousands upon thousands of talented people who are here to pursue their dreams and you have a wonderfully exciting city with surprises around every corner. Check this video out for a nice change of pace and just to watch Lucy be her charming self.

Ahh, isn’t marijuana great?

It’s often so good that it can make the lamest of ideas seem funny—no matter how dumb or stupid it may be once completely sober.

Anyway, this is your classic “get high and make something crazy up” video by the good people at behnfannin productions. I’m not going to knock it, because I can’t say I’ve never done the same thing. In fact, I can tell you exactly how this video was made...

* * * * * * * * * * *

(Scene: Three young men on a couch; stoned out of their mind's in a random junky-ass one room apartment—video game running, smoke wafting through the air, and curtains pulled tightly shut on a bright California day)

Behnfannin member #1: “man, that weed was amazing! What kind was it?”

Behnfannin member #2: “W-what?? I forget… Dude, my stomach is growling, this was some good shit, though, wasn’t it?”

Behnfannin member #3: “I’m hungry as a motherfucker!”

Behnfannin member #1: “Hell yeah, lets get some subs.”

Behnnfanin member #3: “Fuck that! Lets get some subs, then do a video about that shit, yo!”

Behnfannin member #2: “I can’t control my eyes.”

Behnnfanin member #1: “Yeah, we can make it like a street skating add and call it ‘no subbing’ or something like that. We’ll pretend to do skating moves with subs in our hand—it will be hilarious! It’ll be like that ‘freestyle walking’ video we saw the other day. Remember that? We were high as fuck and watched it together. It was almost as funny as the Teletubbies or The View!”

Behnfannin memner #3: “Shit yeah! I remember. That was the day we smoked the ‘blueberry!’… I’m down. Let me go get the video camera and we can bounce!”

Behnfannin member #2: “It was called ‘orange crush’, I remember now!… Guys, where are we going?”

(End Scene)

Yeah, kinda like that…

From YouTube.com user: Blendtec

"Will it Blend? That is the question!" says the vapid smile of Tom Dickson at the beginning of each episode of "Will it Blend?"
and then, you're off to a magical land where every substance is malleable, where any substance (handfulls of marbles, cans of coke, rake handles) can and will be turned into inedible milkshakes inside of the BlendTec unecessarily-strong blender. Make sure to securly fasten your jaw to your face because Mr. Dickson will knock it off like a dinner plate full of peas and subsequently blend it in his crazy blender contraption.

But oohhhh the irony! ohh the weirdness! Why of all things in the video above did the blendtec crew decide to blend 24 credit cards? Well the short answer is the one that Dickson's bottle-blonde and seemingly terrified (possibly by threat of blending) wife gives us "we just got out of debt!" Okay, sure. Cute. Aww they just got out of debt. Whether you believe it or not the fact remains that there are several credit cards being blended in a video on YouTube that, to my knowledge, is the first popular series of commercials on the internet.

I mean, look at it. Yeah those blenders are craaaaazyyy, but who needs to seriously blend a Turkey dinner? These YouTube videos are the cleverest use of Viral Marketing that I have ever seen in my entire life. No one, before these videos came out, wanted to actually blend his or her cute kitten in a blender and "drink it all up." Now? I'm not so sure. He or She could actually do that.

the irony of this video lies in the credit card. Perhaps its a joke to blendtec, or not. Its more likely a metaphor that speaks to my penchant for being a little too liberal with my Marxist criticism: while the credit cards are blended into a papery, plasticky oblivion so, in turn, is the debt that Tom and His wife had because us YouTubers are being marketed to. Is this the death of the rent-free internet? In the future, will we be able to ignore annoying ads that beg us to shoot the ducks and win a ringtone? Will entertainment, or even art, be indistinguishable from advertisements? Meh, probably.

But next time you're at a department store and you're looking back and forth between the home appliance section and the rake section I hope you'll think twice about dropping that dough.

This clip is just weird, and I can’t say much about it other than that. There’s some dancing and some corny funk-music involved as two happy people step their way through a random forest to meet their untimely end at the hands of a third happy prancer. Strange stuff. I’m not impressed, I’m not laughing, and I’m not sure you will. But have a look anyway. It’s only one minute long.

In the pursuit of comedy one should never be afraid to take chances. Many of the great minds have all had that one undeniable trait in common, and the Behnfannin production company apparently isn’t any different.

This video is an extremely creative one. A television news magazine segment about a born-again zombie who has seen the error of his brain-eating ways and is attempting to reform back into the ways of the living.

With the help of his necrophiliac wife and a hilarious 13-step monster support group consisting of a warewolf, a whiny vampire, and host of unsupportive counselors, he seems to have found a way to get back on track, until he falls off the wagon and eats his newborn baby. Woops. No one said it was going to be easy.

Trust me when I say that this clip is definitely worth watching, and is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time. You won’t be disappointed with this one, I promise.

Lazydork’s rap is awesomely self-deprecating. The video was in response to Emmalina and other YouTubers putting up rap videos. The rap is basically about how Lazydork gets no views, ratings, or love on YouTube and that he’s way too old to be worrying about it in the first place. Mostly I like that he smells his boxers to see if they’re clean and that he can’t do yoga. This really is a pretty funny rap and worth checking out.

I don’t know how I missed Lazydork’s first video, but I’m happy I caught it now. In case you had any doubt, yes Lazydork is a hairy, hairy man. This review/remake of “Hostel” is really quite funny. Like so many of the torture movies, someone gets an appendage cut off and then screams for the next thirty minutes blah, blah, blah. I really like Lazydork’s screaming here and the special effects are hilarious. Watching those scissors cut through the hot dog is truly gruesome and the milk vomit is always a nice touch.

Absolutely fascinating! This guy is an excellent juggler, but the added dimension of the cone is way cool. He gets all the balls in the air and they spin around him, like planets around the sun. This is an outstanding video. It’s good entertainment, and something a little different and off the wall—literally.

Mookie and Sam are office dogs. They have their toys, their beds, their computers and the copy machine. What more could a dog need at work? An occasional visit to the park with the dog-walker to take care of—uh, personal business, and the day is complete.

From YouTube.com user: Gr8shotz

Ah, yes, the diet. Gr8shotz needs to lose a few pounds and is eating healthier. Trying to find a healthy place to get lunch, he finds nothing but Burger King. A double whopper with cheese value meal calls his name, and he eats it fries first. It’s the Diet Coke he ordered that makes it a healthy meal. Oh, well, losing weight can wait for another day. Gr8shotz is Everyman, which makes him hilarious.

Both the human and the cat in this clip show extreme patience with each other. I didn’t know operant conditioning could work on cats! By the end, the cat flipped the switch and went to his food bowl every time. And his human put food in the bowl every time. I wonder if the cat thought he had trained the human to put food in his bowl.
