BeHeard remembers. This video is a bit different from the usual fair from BeHeard. This shows three of the freedom writers actors and their video diaries from when they visited the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. We can see and listen to their thoughts as they remember one of the largest events in our world history of the 20th Century. Once again simple and thought provoking. This group is always a must watch.
And a woman is heard! This is yet another compelling clip from BeHeard. This time we hear about life from a woman, Jaclyn Ngah, as she talks about girls and their cattiness. As a woman, I can definitely relate to what she is talking about. Women can be the most catty things on the planet. This is the last of the BeHeard clips, but I am sure there will be more to come. I'll let you know when there is because I'll be watching.
BeHeard lets another to be heard! This is another video from BeHeard. This video's are short, but their messages are powerful. They are the type of videos that make you think. In this video, listen as Sergio talks about his life growing up in the middle of gang and race fights. Growing up in Los Angeles myself, I can truly identify with what this young man is talking about.
Let your voice be heard! This video is yet another in the series of interviews by the BeHeard group. These videos aren't long, but the shortness in length is made up for by the video's message. We see people talking frankly about their life and experiences, and how they became the people they are today. This video shows Mario Bennett talking about his mother's drug addiction, and how seeing what that experience put his family through prevented him from following a similar path. Definitely worth taking a minute of your time to watch this video.
This is another video from the BeHeard group on YouTube. These videos are short interview clips that have a powerful meaning attached. There aren't a lot of effects or music to overpower the message, which is something I like about the video. The first video I posted about back on Friday, one man talked about how he dealt with the pain in his life through writing.
This video shows how one man, actor Hunter Parrish, is set free by writing as well. These short interviews give us an interesting perspective on life and how those cope with it. The videos by this group are definitely worth watching.
We all have our own ways of dealing with our day to day lives. Some days are easier than others, and some days you just have to wonder why you even bothered getting out of bed that morning. We all know those days, and we all have things we do to help ourselves get through the bad days and get to the good ones.
I keep seeing this video pop up on the sidebar for other videos I've been watching the last couple of days, so I finally checked it out for myself. This short video clip is of one man talking about how he gets through the pain and the bad in his world by expressing how he is feeling and writing it down. I know writing is a source for me as well. Sometimes you just need to get it out, and when no one will listen writing is one of the best ways to do that.
This video is very short, but it has some great shots thrown in, and I like that the music doesn't overwhelm the message being delivered by the man speaking. Great short video. Check it out.
