Sometimes it’s good to change your style a little bit just to freshen things up. This girl takes that idea to an extreme. The video begins with a beautiful blonde woman who is having her head shaved. While the change is striking, in the end she is still a very beautiful lady. This is a great video to give you the impetus to make a change and the barbershop chatter is always fun to watch.
So he’s not Gene Simmons and the picture quality may be a little sketchy, but this guy can make some crazy ugly faces. I’m sure that by most accounts the man in this video is not attractive, but he’s embraced his rubbery face and uses this video to show off some of the silly looks his face is capable of. I most enjoyed running to the mirror afterwards to try and make the same faces. Unfortunately, I failed.
Sometimes a little human contact is all one really needs, and that is what Juan Mann set out to do on his world-wide campaign. And it caught on like a virus infecting and inspiring people from all walks of life. But just as it did, clueless police banned the campaign in Sydney, his hometown, where his campaign began.
Why would anyone in the world want to ban hugs? That is just what happened here. (In the cops' defense, they were trying to prevent pick-pocketing thieves.)
What follows is a truly inspiring story as he gathered the required 10,000 signatures in order to allow the campaign to go forward. We're happy to report that the campaign is spreading again and people around the globe are carrying the torch and moving his cause forward.
Have you hugged a stranger lately, or even someone you know? If not, how about hugging the person in the next room? You have to start somewhere, right? Check out this inspiring video! Juan Mann -- and hugs -- is what the world needs more of.
Life is such a crazy thing. Some days you just want five more minutes before you face the day. You get up though, and you start your day. Why do you do it though? Well, this video answers that question for one young man. We see why he gets up every day as we go along with him throughout his day. At the end, he tells us he gets up every day because life is worth living. How true a statement that is. There is some good editing in this, but the message is what makes this a great video.
In this video we take a trip outside with suavekitty. Scenes of her outside and walking around are mixed in with black and white video of herself inside as well. There is some great editing work in this one, especially in the opening sequence with the video coming to us out of pictures in a photo album. A great trick. Those opening moments alone make this video one to watch.
Poor Little George. All he wanted was a cheeseburger. This short animated clip shows Little George out with his brother. The two go out for cheeseburgers, but in the end George is left alone without any cheeseburger. The animation is simple in this video clip, and the audio left a bit to be desired. It was hard to understand George's voice some, but the video is cute. The voiceover just needs some work.
This short video tells the story of a boy who tries to write a letter to his former love. However, he is unable to do so, and that's when things start to get weird as cheesy pop love songs start to play. Some supernatural force looks to be the culprit at first, but we soon find out there is a perfectly natural explanation for the music playing. This video is just really cute and funny. When you think the music is some supernatural thing, he reacts to it like you think someone might in his position. He picked out some great songs to include too. Check it out!
Simpsons: The Movie is not too far away anymore. This preview gives us a taste of what it can be like. Unfortunately, it doesn't taste good. I really hope it will remember why it became popular in the first place, and not continue in the path it has gotten lately. In a world of beautiful and amazing animation, Simpsons arrives - in 2D!
Now I clearly understand why "It's hard out here for a pimp" won this year's Oscar-prize for best original song. It really is. Take the pimp in this video for example. Is there anything harder for a pimp than a hit on the head by a martial arts master? Don't think so...
"Let's Pretend" is not like the usual comedic video. You can clearly feel the truth underneath the happy satirical song, because what the lyrics imply is mostly accurate to what's going on today. It's a slideshow with an amusing sound. Listen and think.
Usually comebacks are made when you quit. Well, not this time. Pipistrello, a long time vlogger, has decided to break the record on the quickest comeback ever. It's actually so quick, he never got to the quiting yet. Amusing and original indeed.
"To be continued"? I certainly hope so! This amusing animation catches the spirit of the Indiana Jones movies while adding its own strange emo flavor. Rough but diverting.
These temple ruins in Angkor Wat epitomize the idealistic notion of travel fantasy in the Tomb Raider games and movies. It looks every bit as fantastic in this roughly-shot travel log. The trees are so big they seem to swallow whole walls and buildings. The camera pans around quickly, giving you a jumpy feeling of wanting to see what might be sneaking up behind you.
The happy dancer demonstrates how good it can be to have a tiny bit more silk and padding between your toes and the hard floor. She makes it look so easy as she hops up onto pointe in this very classic looking ballet video.
This solar rig is set up to roast coffee beans. It's lots of effort condensed into a short amount of time with time-lapse photography. It's a high tech solution to "how to make a better cup of coffee."
This is a fascinating invention as well as a very eye-catching video. It's a demonstration of very futuristic technology with vivid flowing colors. A touch pad can be used with both hands to revolutionize productivity as a user interface with a computer. The touch pad has been around for a long time; these experimental applications are new. They show how to manipulate sound and color for art, or editing photos, or even learning geometry and advanced math in 3-D. The invention can be used as a game, but just as easily be used to create new games. It gives a greater range of abilities and multitasking to business applications as well.
