Sometimes a little human contact is all one really needs, and that is what Juan Mann set out to do on his world-wide campaign. And it caught on like a virus infecting and inspiring people from all walks of life. But just as it did, clueless police banned the campaign in Sydney, his hometown, where his campaign began.
Why would anyone in the world want to ban hugs? That is just what happened here. (In the cops' defense, they were trying to prevent pick-pocketing thieves.)
What follows is a truly inspiring story as he gathered the required 10,000 signatures in order to allow the campaign to go forward. We're happy to report that the campaign is spreading again and people around the globe are carrying the torch and moving his cause forward.
