This video is a textbook example of how to be absolutely horrible at an interview; regardless of how you feel about McCain’s politics. I particularly like how in the beginning he tries scratching his eyebrow and such to excuse his looking down, but by the end he drops all pretense and just reads the paper. He seems so unfamiliar with the text that it makes you wonder if they had a rehearsal, or if McCain even believes the things he’s saying at all.

This is the follow up BET Awards promo posted by Chedda346. This cipher features Rhymefest, Remy Ma, Saigon (of "Entourage" fame), and Sway. This is another good look at what a cipher is all about. It’s much shorter than the first, but the group does a nice job of taking turns and staying with the Just Blaze beat that’s presented to them. Rapping is an art, and these MC’s are some of its best practitioners.

This is what’s called a “cipher” between rappers Papoose, Lupe Fiasco (one of my personal favorites) and Styles P done as a BET promo for the popular and controversial television network. A cipher, for those out of the loop, is a group of rappers getting together to freestyle back and forth with each other. It’s both fun and a competition between the rappers who can come up with the best stuff. So in this particular one, two of the rappers (Styles P and Papoose) play fair and come off the cuff with their rhymes. But Lupe decided to break the cardinal rule and use a pre-written rap.

This is just a black and white video posted by a poster named Chedda346 of the three—first Styles P, then Lupe, then Papoose—standing outside of a building and showing their formidable skills. The creativity and wordplay Styles P and Papoose is pretty tame however—but then again it’s not easy to freestyle. Everybody can’t be Jay-Z. Lupe’s rap carries the cipher as it’s from his song “Real Recognize Real” off the bootlegged version of his album “Food and Liquor.” In it he personifies the street game with the different characteristics are prevalent in the communities where “the game” is prevalent. If you like rap, you’ll like what’s going on in this one.

Everybody loves Johnny Cash—including me. Whether it’s the voice, the lyrics, the black, or the movie “Walk the Line,” the man in black resonates, in some way, with everyone who hears his famous name. This video is of the new song God’s Gonna Cut You Down—off the album “American V: A Hundred Highways.” This is a lot more modern than what we’re used to hearing from Cash, but the song’s hip-hop beat works well with Cash’s haunting lyrics warning “sooner or later, God’s gonna cut you down.” The video is done in understated black and white and features a number of celebrities like Kris Kristofferson, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Lisa Marie Pressley, and Chris Rock to name a few.

We just don't get to see enough tall naked models on skateboards anymore. But we promise to bring them to your attention whenever we find them.

Here, we watch bald, rail thin, department store models... Well, OK, they're mannequins -- Lucy, Beth, Naomi, Jessica, Tifanny, Nikita -- each skateboard down a quiet country lane. With limbs akimbo by the ride's end. They all look great. But in terms of form, finesse and distance, Lucy really gives Tifanny a run for her money. But I think Tifanny wins by a leg. A fun and unique video. Although one thing I felt missing was a musical background theme to make it complete. Maybe the Beach Boys', "Surfer Girl"?

Will Dirtiestline follow up with additional humorous video diversions on this theme? Water skiing girls or parachuting girls perhaps. We'll be watching.

This video of Michael Richards at the Laugh Factory has only been up on YouTube for a short while as I am writing this, but it already has thousands of views, and I’m sure that number is going to skyrocket as word gets out about his recent odd tirade.

The video quality is a little shaky, but they have provided captions so that you can be sure you hear everything correctly, because you may not believe your ears. It is unclear whether this is a set up routine that went horribly wrong or just straight up bombing at the Laugh Factory. Either way, you can see most members of the audience walking out during this spectacle. You can be sure people will be talking about this for a while. This video, All Aboard the Crazy Train, comes to us from Studio411 and BamMan Productions. In this video we see surfing footage taken back in 2004 and 2005 mixed in with interview content as one man describes surfing and what it means to him and his fellow surfers.

Some of the surfing footage in this video is just amazing. The waves in this video are some of the biggest I've seen. The footage is well shot, and the music used over the surfing video fits it perfectly. This video looks to be a part of a longer work, and it definitely made me want to check that out as well.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I began to watch this video. I'm not a big fan of jellyfish personally. They are beautiful to look at, but I've heard enough stories to know how much hurt and damage they can cause in one's life.

This video appears to be shot completely underwater, and it gives us a whole new look at the beauty of jellyfish. The film is edited together in such a way that we can see many types of jellyfish over the almost three minute movie span. The clips are set to music that only add to the video. Definitely a video worth watching.

Two Virgins with Two Guitars is an animated music video from Acousticore. It was also their first music video and an entry into Cingular's YouTube Underground contest. To hear more from the group you can visit Acousticore on Myspace.

The animation in this video is quite simple, but it works with the song. As for the audio in the track, there are some times it is difficult to understand the lyrics, especially in the opening moments. The video does have some amusing moments, so it is definitely worth watching.

I found this interesting video when I woke up to my YouTube this morning. Over the weekend, a new campaign was launched by a group called Modern Day Robin Hood. This weekend, they gave out money to people at a location in NYC just to make them smile, as one of the group described it. Last week, I posted about a man giving hugs to complete strangers in hopes of doing the very same thing.

The group is already getting some notice from the media, some of it negative. As for the video itself, it is a bit on the chaotic side to me. Not very well shot, and the audio is a bit on the low side, but it does get the message the group is trying to get across out. I'll be interested to see what this group does in the future.

This is another video from the BeHeard group on YouTube. These videos are short interview clips that have a powerful meaning attached. There aren't a lot of effects or music to overpower the message, which is something I like about the video. The first video I posted about back on Friday, one man talked about how he dealt with the pain in his life through writing.

This video shows how one man, actor Hunter Parrish, is set free by writing as well. These short interviews give us an interesting perspective on life and how those cope with it. The videos by this group are definitely worth watching.

Magic Chex Box is a short funny video in which a young man, Tyler Rowe, receives a box of Corn Chex that let's him have a whole new wardrobe. Just place the box on a level surface, stand in front of it and his clothes change automatically.

I think we all have moments where we wish we could find such a box for ourselves. He certainly takes advantage of his new gift. The one sequence of the film that bothered me is when he wants to get fancy. The colors change, and I'm not even sure what he is wearing. Some type of mix between being a knight and working in a theater maybe? Other than that, this video is worth a quick laugh.

Moonbeam Death Ray is a computer generated music video by Daniel D. Brown. This is his first attempt in animation, and I think for the first time out of the box it is quite amazing. By the video's description, the creator put a lot of time and work into this video's creation.

The music for the video is by Bronze Fawn, and in the video itself we see as a moonbeam does cause death to a fawn. The video descriptions does say this is a brighter version of the video, but some parts still seem a bit on the dark side to me. It is a great video though, and it is definitely worth watching.

Flower Gardens is a music video from Chad Vangaleen off his release SkelliConnection from Sub Pop Records. This animated video was recorded and created by the man himself, and it is well done. A bit on the trippy side, but it is definitely worth watching. The first moments of the video are completely dark, but once the music picks up we see some action on the screen.

Ant
In this surprisingly capturing video, we watch an ant spend five minutes on its back, stuck in a pile of sugar. There's an ecstasy of grace in the ant's movements, as it flails about trying to free itself. As the struggle continues the viewer cannot help but become caught up in the drama, wondering if the ant will find freedom….or death. But don't expect us to give away the ending, you'll have to watch for yourself.

We all have our addictions. Some are addicted to alcohol, drugs or any number of things. Each person is different. The man in this short film is addicted to the rain. The feeling of rain hitting his skin is his thing. Might sound strange to some, but this short film does go far to explain how one could find this addicting.

The film comes to us from Balamore Teahouse Productions and it stars Gordon Walthou as the man addicted to the rain. The video is a short five minute clip, but it is enough to get the point being made a cross. Very much of the video is shot in darkness where we can only hear the voice of the man talking.

This choice by the film producer perplexed me a bit because it almost felt too dark to me. Some more light would have been appreciated, but there are some sequences shot in the man's apartment that do provide that as well. Another thing about this video that perplexed me some is the opening cartoon sequence. I think this actually took away from the message of the film some. All in all, this is a good short film worth watching.

Love Corner is a sketch comedy video that comes to us from Zebro, a comedy group out of Boston. The video gives us a taste of their brand of comedy. They have a weekly show at the Improv in Boston, and they also appear to be working on television series. Love Corner is a piece being worked on towards the endeavor.

In the video, we watch as two of the men in the group stand and watch over your normal every day street corner. However, this isn't your normal street corner because these two men have dubbed it the love corner. People that meet on it are shown falling in love. However, you have to wonder if it could also be called the stab corner. Love and hate seem to mix here.

The comedy shown in this skit is not knock down hilarious, but it is definitely laugh worthy. The video has some good camera work as we go from the rooftop to the street below. I'd be curious to see more from this comedy troupe in the future.

It's a Monday before a holiday, which can spell out only one thing: utter unproductivity at the office. To help you with this task, below is one of the latest of the Office Space-inspired comedic shorts by the dynamic duo, Barats and Bereta.

"Cubicle Wars 2006" is definitely the best thing I've seen from these guys so far- they just keep improving the professional quality of their videos, as well as their subject matter and sense of comedic timing. Filmed like something straight out of "The Office," Cubicle Wars hits that same effective note of deadpan humor and caustic wit.

While ostensibly falling under the facade of a cheesy infomercial, Cubicle Wars really gives the audience dead-on exposure to classic workplace dynamics. Rarely do I come across comedy on You Tube that achieves the tone it sets out for, but Barats and Bereta are two extremely funny guys....you'll find yourself laughing out loud at this one, and, despite the subject matter, it's work-appropriate enough to play on low volume at the office..... (hint-hint).
