Popa

These beautiful pink castles, the shrines and the monuments are edited together well. The transitions aren't overpowering. There isn't anyone talking. It's beautiful scenery set tastefully to acoustic guitar, and it's simple and impressive.

There are many videos of the fireworks at Disneyland. This one is centered so that you can see both the castle and the fireworks display above it. It's a little too long and the audio is muddy, but it is colorful and you can distinguish the fireworks.

Tribute to 60 minutes' Ed Bradley

News broke yesterday of the passing of Ed Bradley, the journalist best known for his part in '60 Minutes' for the last 25 years. He passed away yesterday due to complications from Leukemia at the age of 65. He was an immediately recognizable face when it came to news on CBS, and I know he will be missed by many. This video is just one tribute I have found on YouTube since the news broke. Take a moment to remember this great man. May he rest in peace.

Giving up the Nuts!!!!!

This video of Lisa’s involves her espousing her ideas on men’s roles in relationships, while the reality is acted out by three guys; one of whom has “given up his nuts”. Lisa’s funny as always and the guy who has “given up his nuts” definitely seems castrated by the end. My question is, who do you side with? Do you think women do claim men’s nuts and their friends desperately try to save them, or do men support their friends being in truly romantic relationships?

Why walk 1000 miles?

This film is inspiring. Why would anyone walk 1000 miles? I know I wouldn't be able to do it, but this clip is an interview discussing a film where one man does that. He walks through England and Scotland, and he isn't doing it for any reason other than to meet people and find peace. The story behind this film is inspired by one woman that walked throughout America named Peace Pilgrim. In this clip, it is hard to tell if the man and woman are just talking about their feelings about the film, or if the young man is in character. Either way the discussion between the two is interesting, and now it has made me want to watch the film.

Beautiful Parody

With any song there can be a ton of hidden meanings. Every single person can read into a song differently. Well, this is how one guy reads into the James Blunt hit, You're Beautiful. We've all at least heard the song once, and it is one of my own personal favorites. However, the lyrics have been totally re-written with humorous results in this parody. I never realized how stalkerish the song's lyrics could be taken until watching this video. Check it out.

Tribute to Japanese Culture

Japanese culture is indeed very original and interesting. In this video we can see how most people see that culture, and what we first think of when thinking about it. Of course if you travel to Japan you won't see people walking around with swords and pale faces, but that's still what it's known for. GingerAnne clearly managed to include the important stuff, the traditions and more, to appropriate music.

Fat People are Greedy

The question is why fat people are fat, and the answer is because they're greedy. (Well, according to this very fat guy.) MrPregnant manages to give us this message in a humorous way. They say a comedian must give himself to the audience in order to succeed and that's exactly what this guy does. A bit longer than the average clip (8:39) but definitely worth watching. Stay with it, it's gets funnier (if somewhat grotesque) at about 3:45 and on.
